Breaking Barriers While Breaking Breads
What is it?
The Dinner: Breaking Barriers While Breaking Bread is an expert-moderated networking dinner curated on behalf of a host organization seeking to address a network gap that is impacting them and the underlying systemic issues. Each dinner consists of no more than 14 total attendees including 1-2 leaders from the host organization, 10-11 leaders external to the host organization (invited by the moderator) and the moderator engaging in a single discussion, and leveraging the discussion to build deeper connections and drive change.
WHY IT MATTERS!
• Sparked Netflix’s $100m Black Bank initiative, which has led to more than $2bn invested in U.S. Black communities to date, and still growing.
• Contributed to -200% increase in Black representation for Netflix Brasil in 12 months following first dinner.
